This situation surrounding Sidney Starr is a fucking scandal. I’m not here to dissect the limited information or criticize her; I’m certain the bigots will take that route, and that really doesn't help us. I’m a tad bit Confucius about how someone can claim the allegations are false while admitting to giving Sloppy Toppy, but I’m no lawyer and that’s above my pay grade. What I want to focus on is how this incident will impact nearly every black trans woman/ femmes life in America. I read on TMZ that she requested this not reflect the entire trans community, and for that, I thank her. But the shade is that the damage may already be done, ma.
